Hope

As crowd grew on the way to Jairus’s house. The disciples pushed their way through the crowds so that Jesus could pray for Jairus daughter, something happened. Jesus suddenly realizes that someone has touched him. As he screams out who touched me Peter responds many people have touched you. Many people were there to be spectators and others had needs. But there was one who had come with the expectation to receive healing through touching him. There are many of you that need your healing, but how many our going to push through the opposition and allow your faith to touch Jesus? This woman had come to her breaking. For 12 years this sickness had been her identity. But that was about to change. She conceived with in her heart a hope that if she just touched the fringe of his robe she would be healed. See the healing started the moment she conceived hope with in her heart. As so a man thinks in his heart so is he. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. The substance of her faith was the pushing through the crowd and the touching of his robe. Her hope was the expectation that the moment she touched him she would be healed. See many times we conceive a hope with in our heart but never release the action of faith “the substance” needed to birth the promise. Our deferred hope will make our heart grow sick. We all have needs and promises that we have not been fulfilled. But I will leave you with the words of Christ. Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened unto you! Let your pursuit be relentless!

Those who hunger and thirst shall be filled. Only Believe!!!
